Caring for Leather Cases
1. CLEAN
Always handle your leather bag with clean hands. Leather is susceptible to absorbing. When ever you feel it’s needed, briskly sweep your leather bag with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. (Do not use too much water; leather takes time to dry.)
Microfiber inner lining can be wiped with a damp cloth to clean up any makeup spills.
2. CONDITION
Leather conditioner is like moisturizer for your leather case. Without it, the leather will dry out over time. To prevent flaking and wrinkling, apply leather conditioner to a soft cloth and gently rub over the entire case.
Due to our product being prone to excessive heat, condition more regularly to keep your leather case soft.
3. STORE
Stuff your leather case with parchment paper (but not newspaper, as it will smear) to restore and hold its shape. Place your stuffed leather case in its original dust bag, and then store.
Livana suggests contacting a leather care/dying professional for specific care inquiries.
